Google L7 TC
Sorry for having a TC question. What is a typical L7 TC in Bay/Seattle? Per levels.fyi, the average is $720K. Is this realistic? Or low, or high? I might want to look around other companies, but wanted to double check the reality of TCs. TC: $720K (stock went up) and I'm an E6. Next year, my TC might go down as I failed my promo to E7 and my big refresher 4-yr ago will be ended. There's no change that I would receive additional equity. But if the stock is around $300-ish, the next year TC would be still ~$700K. So, based on the TC, it's not motivating for me to respond a ping from Google recruiter? Will Google match the current compensation? Absolutely no? Am I too naive?
Is this IC or manager.. some ppl at L7 google are getting more like 600-650k also.. so it will undershoot meta E7 by a big %
Many people are getting more than 700K, even in your screenshot - you can see it. It think the range is wide and it all depends

Get some competing offers from other big tech and Google can pay more
Range is very wide. No competing offer puts you at the bottom in the 600s. Good competing offer, can put you over 1m

Is it machine learning domain? Ppl getting into pixel are getting more like 50% of whatever ur numbers are at same L7

Not really, I got a better deal from google and my meta offer was maxed out
Which level? Meta refreshers are better, so if it's only small diff, meta still offer more money in the long run
