I’ve been looking at levels.fyi and notice that Google has been offering roughly 150-170k range for new grads L3 SWE. I thought it was typically closer to 200, am I missing something? YOE: 2 TC: 270 #google #software #engineering #swe
Not super familiar, however, I haven’t heard of any decline for senior+. But I do know that many new grad (return intern) offers for high performing interns are still very high.
Pay is going down recently. Supply and demand at work.
135 lol
Especially for ML/A.I ??
Shows n/a for stock so I'm guessing this was an error. It's hard to imagine an offer from Google with no RSUs
The n/a I believe is bonus
Ohh damn, I failed
How do you survive with 135k in ca
Food stamps. Section 8 housing. Second job.
New grads aren't worth $200k, and companies are finally figuring that out.
Google lowballs everyone
In Jul 2021, Google was giving out 118k base, $90k RSUs offers for Seattle. https://www.teamblind.com/post/Square-vs-Google-new-grad-1SYMKJPf
some of those numbers seem like cap pretty sure google pays around 200k new grad

Modi is a legend, will be remembered for centuries to come
Those new grads probably didn’t know they could negotiate, they heard “170k a year” and got excited because it’s more money they ever thought they could make.
True, even so I’ve never seen G offer 150-140 for L3
