Google PM interview
One reason I always wanted to get into google as a PM was for the podcasts app. Finally secured an interview but seeing as the app is going to be collapsed into YouTube or whatever, I’m kinda less motivated. I know this sounds very crazy but humour me. Any Google PMs here work on the podcasts app? And does anyone here have prep resources I could check out as part of my prep?
I don’t work on podcasts, but you could always join me in R&D. As for resources, if you don’t have direct links inside google and you’ve got cash, get a course like product alliance, then pay for mocks on prepfully. It’s a killer combo.

Google PM here. I personally find these video courses a waste of time. Cracking the PM interview and Decode & Conquer are the 2 starter books. Then look for Lewis Lin’s publicly available spreadsheet with PM questions and practice with them

Do you have to know how to code to be a PM at Google?
Maybe apply to Spotify or Apple? Podcasts are not really our thing.
Hmm, Google prep resources. Nothing I’ve personally tried, but maybe read cracking the PM interview, if you need to brush up with interviews. I’ve seen a lot of people recommend it and I might try it out too sometime. Maybe also an interview course like exponent or product alliance. Although I’ve heard product alliance is better, however more expensive. 🙏hope this helps a bit
