Trying to get into google as project manager. Currently working at as a PM 2 years now and have 3-4 years of mechanical engineering background. My question is: Would complete the certification have better chances to get an interview from Google or other top tech companies? Don’t want to waste time on it and any insight about the certification? #tech
I don’t think it will help much.
As someone who used to be a PjM, the certifications are not valuable unless you’re working in defense, government, or other legacy organizations. If you plan on staying in government then sure, go for it. If you want to move to tech, ehhhhhh.
Hi, I work for Amazon as application analyst and have been wanting to switch careers to project management roles. I want to apply for google. Any guidance advice is appreciated.
Normally I'd say no, but I actually know someone that got an interview directly from this because Google was looking to promote success stories for it. Idk if that is still the case.
