Do no evil
👏👏👏
They can join Colin Kaepernick.
Dude there are two of them
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/At-will_employment Google has every legal right to fire her if she’s causing too much trouble for them, just like they did with Damore. If you’re mad at this then you should be mad for Damore, whether you agree with him or not.
Google has every right to fire any employee but they certainly can't claim they're holier than other employers/companies.
Sure, not really the concern here though.
“Earlier this month, Google put Rivers and Laurence Berland on leave for allegedly violating company policies. At the time, Google said one had searched for and shared confidential documents that were not pertinent to their job, and one had looked at the individual calendars of some staffers. ... Google employees, who the Times kept anonymous, discovered Google’s relationship with ISI via internal calendar entries.” LOL
What is ISI?
Good.
Well deserved. As a SWE your job is to build stuff, other things are none of your business. It's funny how these people think they own Google or Google is their home and they can do whatever they want or something along that line.
They are used to college where students can do no wrong.
These employee activists are largely 'spoiled' millennials filled with self-righteousness, entitlement and sjw mentality. You're employed and paid to deliver product and service for the company, not fucking activism
They literally say "Google is evil" and other weird sht on their Twitter.. surprised they werent fired earlier. prob leaked a ton of stuff
Funny if they said "Google is evil". They should GTFO and be grateful to get fired from evil.
If they did this in my workplace they would be thrown in prison. Why should Google give them all that money and give all those perks if they want to stand against the company? They have a problem with Google, but they don't have a problem with Google signing their checks.
Turns out companies need employees, not activists.
