If the recruiter asked for a follow-up 5-10 min phone call after a phone interview with the hiring manager, is it a good signal? In general, I have seen email rejection rather than a phone call. Any of you have had this experience? Thanks
Can go either way. Just schedule the call and see what happens.
Thanks. Already did
Can go either way. In my case, it was good news. Good luck!
Thank you. Hope it goes the same for me
By the way, how long did your follow-up call last?
The hiring manager wouldn’t bother with a call unless they were interested. It’s sometimes called a “sell call”. It may be they think they’re interested but are unsure if it’s a perfect fit and want to talk it out. https://www.practicecodinginterview.com/blog/2018/8/4/the-google-interview-process
I had the phone call and she told me I am going to onsite
Thanks for getting back quickly. Good luck with your onsite.
