1k for equipment and i think pretty much it. Cannot recall anything substantial.
I think we actually got two 1k payments but don’t quote me on that
I was talking about Google, but might miss the other one. It’s 1k reimbursement not 1k regular income
Nothing really. They just give us what Facebook gets, but probably in a slightly worse form. E.g. Facebook received an unconditional peer bonus, so Google gave us $1k on certain allowed items (which excludes laptops, tablets, monitors,...). Also Facebook announced a few days off, Google gave us one or two days off too.
Personally iv used/can remember: Phone reimbursement, home internet reimbursement, headspace subscription, $1300 office setup reimbursement, $400 or something to donate to charities, stadia subscription. GBike maintainence people came to my house with a van to fix my bike after I crashed it. We got a few extra days off
1300? How did you get phone reimbursement? Because of oncall?
Stadia subscription? GBike - I presume for local riding? Are these free? Also most of the stuff in the list is not wfh related. And $400 donation is not what _you_ get. It was a ploy that they (probably Prasad) used to remove holiday gifts - it's corpspeak to say that employees receive it.
If you are in the union can you ask them to pay us for food or deliver it? It was the reason many people joined.
Fully reimbursable office equipments (already reimbursed $800 can do more as needed) Up to $1000 reimbursements for pretty much anything
Aah expected much more than this from google
What did u reimbursement ? iPad allowed ?
