Guys I got my phone snatched today
I was in sf market Street walking and some guy took my phone while I was talking to my friend. I have made a police report, however no hope. Anyway long story short it was iPhone 11, I found that I have apple care+ and not Apple Care with theft so won't get my money back. I got the phone with my bank rewards credit card. Is there any hope of getting my money back? What about renters insurance

always wondered why ppl steal phones even if he can use it a bit while unlocked, it requires pin to change security settings so what can he do w/ a stolen phone? try to sell it back to u?

If someone has to snatch phones on the street, pretty sure he doesn’t know how to crack password.
So the fbi needs help to do it, but any crack head on the street can... right ....

Same thing happened to my friend on Powell street with her iPhone X. With a police report, renters insurance covered it with a $100 deductible.
