When changing jobs if new Employer willing to do h1b transfer under premium how much time does it take? Non premium is it risky because if RFE or rejection comes u may be without a job? Any other tips on this
PP is in 15 days not 10.
15 calendar days = 10 business days.
Apologies, I totally missed the business days comment. You are right- 10 business days.
Odds of rejection are independent of processing time. With Premium processing you should get a result on 15 calendar days starting from the date of petition receipt.
BTW, when calculating the timeline, oftentimes people forget about the time involved in the preparation phase before the petition has been filed. Depending on the immigration firm and the coordination from the future employer, it can take from few weeks to few months to file the petition.
So effectively a one month gap in offer acceptance and approval from uscis
Or more depending on the law firm.
Yeah, most of them takes atleast a mon from doc collection to filing.
Reading about these RFEs even for high paying jobs is depressing. Looks like an exit plan to Canada Aus is needed

Premium processing is supposed to give you an answer in 10 business days. I believe it’s up to 90 days if filed non premium. RFE or rejections are independent from your processing times
