Not about which company to work for, the better company should be pretty obvious. Which subscription would you pick if you had to choose 1? #netflix #hbo #hobbies #movies #entertainment
Read this Check out this post! "PSA - Don’t join HBO Max (Tech Industry)" https://us.teamblind.com/s/rkPqV1pq
OP mentioned subscription not joining.
Oh ok I need to read posts more clearly I just automatically assume that every blind poll is just discussing companies work culture lol
Why not just take netflix for 2 months and then take 2 months hbo , then back to netflix and so on..
HBO has historically had better quality content but quality is subjective. Given that, hands down Netflix for the pure quantity of content it pumps out. Second to none.
You have to consider though that most of cable is a bunch of shows that doesn’t appeal to everyone. The most watched TV shows on TV usually aren’t the most award winning or highly reviewed. It’s procedural dramas. There’s entire channels with a bunch of random weird shows like pimple popping and what we honey boo boo is from thats cheap to make but might not appeal to the person who likes to watch the HBO kinds of shows. Netflix makes a large variety of content for different kinds of viewers.
Netflix is pushing its own dramas and TV shows in the US Market. Most of its TV shows outline stupid bullshit woke and identity politics. If you like that sort of stuff, go ahead. I personally don’t wanna see any of that so I am now doing HBO Max
I only get recommendation for Koran action movies and space Sci/Fi. What do I have to do to get the woke stuff? 😅 Edit: jk
HBO by a mile. The content is actually good.
HBO has better content but the app is total buggy af
Yeah Disney and Netflix it's just too much. Gone too far with the political correctness. The casting for D&I isn't even reflective of society and proportions of ethnicities. Loki casting completely forgot the Asian and Latinx population and went all in for other ethnicity group. Some of the roles cast didn't even make sense at all but it was like it needed to meet a D&I quota.
The bad guy is black, and I’m sure there’s a story behind who he chose to run the TVA org. You say political correctness has gone too far in one paragraph and in the next one you talk about examples where political correctness has been ignored…
Yes it has gone too far and gotten too disconnected with reality. I can't understand why casting is focusing on one group to make a political statement now but forgetting Asians and Latinx whose populations that are higher in the regions they are broadcasting this content. That's why I say political correctness has gone too far. It's focusing on one group of people and reverse segregating out others.

Anyone else have a bloated belly until a huge fart deflates the belly back to normal?
Netflix, though mainly for K-Drama, and all movies I didn't get to watch while attending undergrad and grad school ;-). Time to catch up with some binge watching.
