Do people underestimate E6 role at meta?
Have an onsite coming up (not going to disclose where). Is there paid mock interview for HFT? This is for C++ SWE track.
Hfts rewrite code for efficiency and some do leercode questions.
If you don't disclose where its kind of hard to know what exactly to prep. Some firms have different expectations even for C++ roles. i.e if you are doing a C++ onsite at Maven, expect to be asked about template metaprogramming. If you are doing a C++ onsite at HRT its probably going to be more systems and leetcode focused.
Maven asks TMP? That sounds fun.
Someone made a post on Blind offering mock interviews. Other than that, there’s no easily searchable service like Pramp
Just know that it's much more likely to be very language focused. At Google your big disadvantage will be that this are so abstracted away that 99% of us don't "know" c++. A good starting point is this question: "implement std::shared_ptr from scratch" (this is considered a relatively easy c++ question in the hft wprld). There's a bit of an algo component, but then, unless you work in the libraries team, there's probably stuff needed that you have never used in your Google career - move assignment operator, copy constructor (heck, I'm genuinely not sure if I've ever written a non-trivial destructor at Google).
