Hey peeps, I got 2 offers with Michaels and Chase in Texas. My situation: 2 and half years left on my H-1B, need GC processing since current timelines require 2 years at least for Perm processing (thanks to Meta this Nov, I have to start again from scratch now). Both the roles are Full-stack as mentioned and I am coming from payments industry. I am thinking of going for brand value as Chase, but GC in JPMorgan is very slow where as Michaels will start from first 90 days. Compensation vise JP Morgan is more. If anybody knows the timelines of PERM processing in Michaels or any info about the company, I would love to know your thoughts. Very confused on which one to choose. JPMorgan: 130k base + 30k bonus Michaels: 135k base + 10% bonus YOE: 4 #engineering #swe
If anyone from Michaels, can you ping me once I have a couple of questions
Just for green card processing , I would suggest to go with michaels ⌠immigration is more important than TC at this point
Keep GC as your priority
Are you joining CCB - Payments or CIB-Payments? If itâs CCB my suggestion please donât joinâŚ
Chase 30k is first year only. After that itâs all based on bonus pool, your performance, manager, etc. It will only reduce.
Did they confirm 30K bonus in offer letter? Surprising..they never mention exact percent, depends on bonus pool, performance and sh*** I would suggest Michaels, due to GC processing..2 yrs is pretty close. Get that done and you can jump as many ships. Good luck !
Dont join chase

Chase wonât do gc for atleast one year and even after it depends on the budget for the team. Iâd say donât take chances unless you have a backup, spouses h1
Which team in Michaels?
Chase sounds more stable as an industry pick given the general economy.
