High minimum vanguard funds

I want to divest big chunk of my RSU and invest in broader vanguard funds. I see recommendation of VTSAX, VTIAX and total bond find everywhere. However, if I have to invest, say 100k, should I stick to these or should I consider funds with $50000 minimum like VEIRX or VGIAX or something else? What large find you guys invest in?

Use whatever funds meet your minimum. You can always upgrade tax-free to a higher fund class later when you meet the requirement for that fund.

VTSAX only.

I bought VTSAX based on the recommendations on Blind. In the last 3 months, VTSAX has not given even a 1% return. I am still holding onto it though to see what returns I get in a year.

I don’t think you understand why people recommend VTSAX if you’re looking at 1 month return. Go read A Random Walk on Wall Street and educate your self.

It’s a 3-month return. And not a 1-month. Many other funds have given me better returns. I usually invest based on the performance history of the fund. And there are many funds out there which have better returns over VTSAX over different periods of time so I am not sure if folks go and compare that fund with others before investing in it.

These funds need to be held for a long time. You get dividends over time which gets reinvested and that's how your wealth grows. Time horizon should be at least 5 years or more.
