I've received a L3 offer (staff) at Indeed Austin with the following numbers - 150k base - 100k LTIP - 60k sign on - 60k anniversary bonuses I'm exploring the option of Indeed SF office and wanted to learn what would be the Bay Area/Seattle adjusted numbers for the offer above. Additionally, if this offer is capped at the high end or if there's room to grow. I have a few competing offers above my current TC. This is likely the lower end. If you have compete offers it shouldn’t be hard to negotiate higher

Staff in Bay Area can get to 400 if you have competing offers. Austin, not so much, but you still have room to negotiate here.

Was given a large range without commitment between 1-2 dollars. What was the LTIP value in your year?
Yes it's on the downward trend... currently its around 3$ and I expect 2019 ones to be around 2$ and 2020 ones you have around 1.3-1.5$
Those are good LTIP and bonus numbers but the base seems low. The SWE3s I know are getting 190-205k base.

Depends on the ltip valuation ... if ltips value go down as expected it's not going to be possible to cross 350k that easily
What can you do with LTIP? Can you liquidate that? What does staff level in indeed map to in other big companies?
Official Indeed Austin Salary for Staff Austin is posted on their site, base is from 140K to 172K, that seems on the high end ballpark. It changes by location so this only applies to Austin. Indeed starting this year to make the bands public, people can tell you any number they want though. but that's the public information they provide, I doub t they will go over the band since I've already seen other people go with competing offers because Indeed doesn't match. I joinned recently: 155K, 87K, LTIPS, 55K Bonus So far loving the people here, best thing about working at Indeed is the people. Tech is meh, all internal stuff but the tools are not bad IMO
What's the ltip value mentioned by the recruiter ? I assume these are 2020 ltips ?
they are 2020 LTIPS, recruiter did not provide value for those, only told me previous value, bu t I think they will be worth ~1.5 when they vest. If the recruiter tells you an estimated value other than between 1 and 2 then he/she is just bsing, no real way to know but estimates are is going to be low wen 2020 LTIPS vest since they just awarded some extra few thousands to eng roles because it seems they are expecting slower growth. LTIP value calculation is tied to revenue and EBIDTA growth
