Hey everyone! I was hoping to pick the brains of anyone who's working with BCGs Design Team. How's the work environment and growth in BCG? It'd be really very helpful in deciding my career opportunities. Thanks in advance.#design #interviews
Fwiw, if you can handle hours and the brads and chads, pwc has been pretty great. Unlike BCG, McK, Accenture designers actually align to rest of firm. Not treated as a special subservient class of people. I think they pay may actually exceed the Management Consultant pay.
The part where you talk about pay, do you mean that pay from PwC..?
BCG is a complete shitshow, especially if you are referring to BCG Digital Ventures. Woof...look elsewhere.

Rahul Gandhi is poison but the people who believe in him are a lot worse
Generally I like to avoid any sort of management consulting like the plague.
Haha.. I worked with McKinsey for 2 years and currently associated with KPMG. So I'm already plagued..
I was offered a job at BCG a few years ago and it was an incredibly weak offer that didn’t seem worth it considering the amount of travel (away from family) involved and hours potentially to work. Plus I was concerned about not developing actual good design and product building skills due to the nature of consulting. Some people like that type of environment but just wasn’t for me.
