Tech companies to avoid as a white guy?
Been making over 200k (annualized) for the past few months. The 200k is a sum of cash (salary) + Amazon RSU. I want access to some good investment opportunities but I need to provide proof that I made over 200k in the last 2 years (i. E. Accredited invester). Of course I don't have that right now but I need to know if I'll have it in the near future. So here are my questions - First, is the required 200k amount before or after taxes? I don't have 200k after taxes. Second, do RSU awards count towards the 200k? My base salary alone won't cut it. Three, what docs should I submit? Are my Amazon paychecks enough? Or do I need to submit bank statements? #investments Thanks in advance Obligatory : tc = 210k Yoe 2.5
Once you are an accredited investor, what investment opportunities you will have access to which you donât have now? What are the benefits of being an accredited investor?
Many established startups as well as young companies that are not established as "safe". These are the ones I'm interested in. There are many other opportunities too
I donât remember ever having to provide proof of being an accredited investor - usually itâs a self certification deal. Also pretty sure itâs pre taxes.
2.5 yoe.. 200k. I'm a bit jealous.. =/
Why don't you just use the NW > $1M to achieve accredited investor status?
Usually, they go off of last yearâs 1040.
W2 records. And there is no reason to race to accredited purposes imo
W2 should have all the info. Thanks. What do you mean by no need to race?
