Company got acquired, and there's been changes: - company portion of healthcare cost has gone from 90% to 75% - less transparency around pay: no more "we pay exactly 75th percentile", no more "here's a few hundred dollars; hire a pro to explain the nuances around your stock options" - no longer talk to HR via Slack, it's now all 1:1 over email & HR is fairly insistent on that - people are talking about budget more, despite a shit-ton of funding coming with this merger I'm pretty early in my career. How much of this is common, and how much is it just me getting lucky and working for an especially awesome company?
