You’re asking the question wrong

What is the right question. I am looking for an answer actually 😁

Tesla doesn’t have ‘self driving’. Cruise is working towards that

Tesla is individual owned car featuring automated driving. Cruise automation is Uber/Lyft with no real drivers. Its gonna be robotic taxi

Tesla requires a driver at the wheel Cruise requires nobody (once it launches)

Taxi fleet vs personal ownership Expensive hardware (better sensors and compute) vs trying to achieve the same with cheaper hardware. Will expand city by city and hence highly dependant on dense maps vs Expansion based on easy to hard road classes but covering much larger geographic region. Trying to find a generalized solution at each step

I won't classify one as better than the other since no one is close to real wide L4 deployment and both are bets on different approaches

I guess Cruise has additional feature like Lidar but Tesla doesn’t

If Tesla wants to become a competitor of cruise automation, the gap to close is less?
