They just make an aws/azure/gcp wrapper, and provide tech support? those providers already have similar dbs built into their cloud offerings. #mongodb #aws

That might be true, but we at least make it easier to do something. Im not sure if mongo does that, why not just work directly with the cloud provider?

This may not be an accurate statement or question. Mongo is not profitable in non-generally accepted terms , but it is still in business, yasss. Among a few reasons why companies stay in business among multiple competitors is the actual shitty situation of those competitors with similar products that mongo offers. To @Amazon's point: jumping into conclusions and showcasing your pseudo- superiority everywhere , including Blind, is exactly the reason why we don't want people from Amazon at Mongo.
