Thank you AAPL and NVDA
From perspective of career growth and compensation? I have 5 years of work experience.
Ya what I’ve seen is they like rotation programs to ingrains their way of doing things with their ‘playbook’ making it easier to be a cog in the machine. They’re hire something like 400-500 new college grads a year to constantly backfill people who leave with a new college grad that comes through the rotation program.
How is TI compensation wise?
Very rare for TI to hire externally. Are you in Bay Area or dallas? By the way for digital design it’s probably best to go to a processors company like amd nvda even qcom over TI... TI is first and foremost an analog focused company
This is true. Great company, but boy have they perfected a culture of lifers. It's hard to get in if you're not in your twenties in one of their sponsored undergrad / grad programs. Even all the DOD contractors around DFW are easier - Bell, Lockheed, Raytheon, L3, Honeywell, and others.
Just had an onsite today and felt like it is mostly analog centric.
