How much money is needed per kid per year? I am assuming you are in the bay?
I'm in HCOL outside the bay. But we'd need an expanded/new home. And we feel like we're already stretched thin timewise. So like, lottery winnings would mean we could hire a cook and cleaner, and then having more kids would be doable from a time and cost perspective.
Never want the kids to outnumber the parents imo. I am not planning to have kids, but if I did, I'd want two. And ideally spaced out by 3 years or less

More hassle in terms of vehicles (harder to have a normal car vs minivan etc) More bedtime problems, you can't each take one kid and do their routine, if there's more than 2 Each child adds a lot more in terms of after school activities. 3 is too much driving around If we lived in a simple old time village where kids ran around free it would be different. No right number for everyone. Would you have the human race die? If one number has to be forced for everyone then 0 most likely is the wrong number. Should be 2 to maintain the human population.
