0 is the right number People who have kids are selfish

Google hellowrldd OP Apr 25

No right number for everyone. Would you have the human race die? If one number has to be forced for everyone then 0 most likely is the wrong number. Should be 2 to maintain the human population.

Who is gonna pay my social security? 😂

Meta 89jsn7h9ss Apr 25

lol how do you guys manage 5 or more

Google hellowrldd OP Apr 25

I once saw a family with their 7 kids on a hike. It looked both fun and chaotic at the same time

Meta 89jsn7h9ss Apr 25

Yea but that’s like your view (assuming you have >5), I wanna hear from a person who actually has that many

ASML Princess 👸🏻 Apr 25

Until the baby girl arrives, there is no number.

Google hellowrldd OP Apr 25

I see. Interestingly if everyone follows this algorithm there will be exactly same number of girls and boys in the world. Assuming the state space has only two genders

I am unaware of everyone's situation. I know myself. I want my exact replica, cute and good-looking Barbie doll.

If I choose 5, do I get more $$

Google hellowrldd OP Apr 25

No. Your $ is limited but enough for you to think about it being a bottleneck for raising children

If we had more money, we'd have more kids. It's tough

Google hellowrldd OP Apr 26

How much money is needed per kid per year? I am assuming you are in the bay?

Google eiπ Apr 26

I'm in HCOL outside the bay. But we'd need an expanded/new home. And we feel like we're already stretched thin timewise. So like, lottery winnings would mean we could hire a cook and cleaner, and then having more kids would be doable from a time and cost perspective.

Zoom zoomzoom2 Apr 26

Never want the kids to outnumber the parents imo. I am not planning to have kids, but if I did, I'd want two. And ideally spaced out by 3 years or less

Google hellowrldd OP Apr 26

Why the first statement?

Zoom zoomzoom2 Apr 26

More hassle in terms of vehicles (harder to have a normal car vs minivan etc) More bedtime problems, you can't each take one kid and do their routine, if there's more than 2 Each child adds a lot more in terms of after school activities. 3 is too much driving around If we lived in a simple old time village where kids ran around free it would be different. But modern life is better with two max
