I'm reaching my 3rd completed year soon, and have been performing well so far according to the various pieces of feedback I've received. I've heard that there is usually a larger jump in pay-scale, how much is it usually, assuming you joined as a new grad (I joined with TC 131.5k) #salaries YoE: 2 TC: 183k
It's very difficult to say without context. Also the actual raises are determined after Eval stack ranking in Q4 + research by compensation team on local market and other factors. You have already gone from 131k to 183k, so very possible to get to 200+k. Just wait and see.
Ah! Interesting, I was thinking I would have the conversation with my managers early so that BDGT doesn't mess with my chances, do you suggest I wait? This is assuming I work as I have or harder (of course).
Sure you can have a chat with them and gauge, how they perceive your work. Ask them if you are meeting their expectations, that you want to continue to grow both in responsibilities/output and compensation. Do they think you will be rewarded appropriately (they roughly know what kind of rating they want to give you), so may be can hint on which direction you will trend.
when did you join (month/year)? you must be a top performer if you're able to get to 183 from 131.5 with 2yoe. I think your next Eval will be huge no matter what
I joined in April 2018. I hope so too! I'm trying to be really productive in these months at home.
