I’m currently HW ICT3 at Apple making ~200k TC with 3 yoe. I’ve just finish interviewing with Meta FRL with 3 teams interested and am expecting an offer next week. I am enjoying the challenging work at Apple currently and have no complaints besides the WLB. Meta’s HW teams are still growing and seem desperate to bring in new HW talent. I’m not itching to leave Apple but am curious how much to expect from a Meta offer. I’m guessing I’d be hired at E4 but would want a 40-50% TC increase to jump without regrets. Is this expectation remotely reasonable? #tech #apple #meta #offer #hardware
If it’s for Bay Area, You can expect 160k - 190k base and 200k - 350k RSU over 4 years, 10% bonus.
Is the high end of that range achievable with my yoe?
Tough for 3yoe unless you have some rare skill set.

Do you honestly think the WLB at Meta will be better?
Not sure, the people I interviewed with say they are happy with the balance, but I’m not sure there’s any good WLB working in HW anywhere 😅
