Is "From the River to the Sea" So Wrong?
I hate the fact that Uber introduced tips. I used Uber above Lyft because of the lack of tips. Now I kinda hate both but I still use Uber and pretend I don't know you need to tip.
How inconvenient for you. I hope at least some drivers have seen an appreciable bump in income.
Why do you think it's an obligation to tip? If uber thinks they should be paid more they should display a higher price before ordering the ride. If drivers want to be paid more, they can find another job.
Only on the basic Lyft, sometimes. Posting enough already at the higher levels
Cheap aholes
holy shit, rich tech workers mostly don't tip. didn't see that one coming, them being greedy douchecanoes and all
What does your name mean?
Lol, don't act like you didn't vote never.
Any opinions? Why do/don't you tip?
Mr. Pink explains the logic in Reservoir Dogs. I hate tipping in general, but I want to fit in. I'll tip strippers that's a tough job.
Beat me to the RD reference
Honestly why does everyone need tips for every transaction and service now? I get that the service industry doesn't pay well (have had tons of jobs waiting and service) but it's not on me. I always liked getting some extra cash but it was never expected. If you have the money and feel like making someone's day better than go for it but I do not think that it should have the stigma that it does.
I will pay whatever the service costs, but deciding how much to tip makes it a poor passenger experience. If the drivers are underpaid, charge more for the rides. But don't ask me to make more decisions.
Little known fact: Lyft was tipping only, in the early days
The Donald always tips. Bigly.
