How’s Amazon’s Project Kuiper? Is WLB/tech stack any good?
Recruiter reached out regarding opportunities for this project. Looks like everyone working on it needs to be a U.S. citizen. Is there a lot of money going into Kuiper? Any difference in work culture given the unique demographic? TC: 145K

They won a government approval to launch 3200 satellites. This is is in direct competition to Starlink satellite based internet. So that’s why recruiting. But industry does not want Amz to pursue this new line of business
well looks like they’re going for it because I see a ton of roles open in the west coast.
They’re a direct competitor with starlink. It’s highly likely that WLB will be absolute trash

People are leaving kuiper because of RTT. Management is expecting it, therefore, preemptive hiring. Although I would be careful since last year in oct/nov they had 20k layoffs
