Take Microsoft. Less of a job worry during a possible recession. This also depends on your org/team and it’s resilience. Hulu/Disney revenue comes from discretionary spending so plan carefully.
Location, YoE?
Is Hulu only partly owned by the mouse?
It’s a joint venture with Comcast I think but Hulu is a part of Disney for all intents and purposes when you’re working there. We have Disney email addresses and Disney benefits and work in Disney codebases.
I had no idea, seems extreme. But pay is probably better right? Do you guys get Disney RSUs?
Looks like l62 Rsu should be 4yrs
YOE? P3 is senior at Disney so Microsoft L61 offer is down level it seems like
Seattle is overcast like 6-7 months straight during fall/winter. Take that into consideration, or ask for remote (or work from LA msft office)
How was the microsoft interview process?
Why docu to msft?
Docu stock down, msft is a great long term stock. Docu will take a long time to reach ATH. Don’t enjoy area of work I’m doing. Feels like I’m working on prehistoric things adding no value to my career Docu and msft have the same stack Need a bump in TC Better benefits at msft Not looking for msft particularly, just interviewing in general
Hulu in LA and go to Disneyland every weekend.
Lol 😂
It will take you 2.5 hours to drive , park and get in
For the Microsoft offer: Note that the annual bonus target at L61 is 10%, not 15%. The $150k sign-on stock award vests over four years. The annual stock award target at L61 is $12k/5 years.
