I feel this way most days actually. Chasing down PR reviews, disorganized meetings, crappy tickets. Crashing tech market. Menial life. Fuck this shit.
Take rest. Infact I wish MS provides 2 days vacation to all of us to get over this shock
Ask your manager, didn't they make all your vacation mother-may-I?
Wow you need PTO to get over what every other tech person is facing in 2022/3? No wonder theyâre laying off my god
Which org?
Take it easy. Go for a walk (perhaps at MS campus), treat yourself to a good coffee. Spend the 1st 30 minutes of your day to plan what you want to accomplish.
Need to call it a day. Take a vacation.. sometime more vacation is needed than motivation..
Reject pr, cancel meet, throw tickets in dustbin... Just chill
But the tickets are electronic
Step 1. Reject ticket saying it's stupid. Step 2. Print the ticket and throw the printed ticket in dustbin. Step 3. Take video of Step 2 Step 4. Send the video to the person who has raised a ticket. Step 5. Just chill
Remember, itâs just a job
I was blaming it on Seattle weather.
Man, I feel this way way too often. Fuck tech
I used to feel the same at Microsoft. Getting PR reviews is so hard there. Almost have to quid pro quo it.
Your team members don't do it?
Not usually. They were too busy authoring their own PRâs to inflate their Connects with impact. Reviewing someone elseâs impact doesnât count for you.
