If you came to US on L1B and then moved to L1A during your stay in US, will you still get your GC processed in year?
Asking for myself. I know that if you come to US on L1A you will get GC in Little more than an year. Is it the same case if you get converted to L1A when you are within US?

Sure. Move out of US. Get to managerial role at Microsoft non US office. Stay in that role for a year. Then you can come to us on l1a. And by then I am sure this nonsensical l1a ll be stopped for ever.

Then talk to your lawyers if you qualify for eb1. You should be in managerial capacity for 1 year overseas in last 3 years and should have moved to US in same role here. If yes, then you qualify
