Improve database and ETL pipeline fundamentals

I recently started a new job, I’ve been thrown into a project that seems like it’s not going anywhere. The person introducing me to the project said that almost everyone who joins onto this project, leaves in a few months. I want to give it a shot and make progress in the project. I have worked with SQL extensively but not on huge datasets. Are there any books or resources that I can use to familiarize myself with ETL concepts while handling big data and creating tableau dashboards or optimizing tableau dashboard’s efficiency.
