If you’re making 450k in Bay Area single income Is it reasonable to shift if you can make 1.2 cr in Bangalore?
Very easy to make 1.5-2Cr in India for 7-10 years experience
No I can’t get
"Very" easy is doubtful. 1-1.5 is manageable if you are Google/Meta level. but 1.5-2, bro you just got influenced with "grass is always greener at the other side".
1/3 of US salary is the typical range. Anything higher is great.
Yes financially 1.2 cr is good enough to lead a good life
I make roughly 1.1 CR in Bangalore. Single income and 6 members in the household. 1.1 CR is still great, never had to worry about financials. You will be fine
Yoe?
Thanks
I just want to make 10 lpa bro
You can get a 1.75 CR if you crack staff at coinbase. They have a fixed salary structure no negotiation
Yes exactly coinbase is pretty great that way. You qualify staff engineer interview you get 1.75 cr doesn't matter what your last role was, last pay was.
Yes they do that. And they really pip and fire. Stressful for me, that's why got an offer but didn't take up.
Need to budget an extra 40L/year for water tanker expenses 😉
No
Is meta hiring in india ?
It depends on your lifestyle and non judgemental freed You looking for.
Wanted the answer just financially
Just financially speaking, no. US: 450K => $325K post-tax => Say $15K/month spend => $150K/yr savings. India: 1.2cr =150K USD => $90K/yr post-tax => Say $3K/month spend => $55K/yr savings. So just considering financially, it doesn't make sense. Now there are other non-financial reasons to move.
