India's best Applied Research Opportunities list compilation.

Theres a lot less visibility for applied research roles in India. Lets create a list similar to that but for Applied Research roles in India. Note : Applied Research would mean the employees are involved to some extent in filing patents and/or publishing papers. Tower research capital
Its a hedge fund. Not a research lab.
The guy at Tower Research who posted stuff on LinkedIn did it on the side .
Samsung does not pay well. Its about decent if you negotiate well, but they do allow a lot of publications/patents. Intel labs I have heard is good, both from a pay/research perspective.

Nference is a shit company, should not be there in the list. Work is crap, but they think they compete with Google. If you want a demo of Dunning-Kruger syndrome, talk to their senior managers. Nothing novel in their work, just forking git repos and feeding data is called cutting edge Google level work there
Not sure why Byjus's is listed as average pay. Pay offered is good. Also I heard the work life balance at Byju's tech is good. But Byjus has reputation of bad work environment because of the BDA profile. Swiggy's pay is also good with decent ESOP, but I heard that work life balance is not good.
Any idea about exact figures offered by Swiggy ? Also do they have buybacks or is the ESOP paper money ?
Are these inputs for SDE roles or Research roles ? If Research role then can you share the exact compensation?
