No, depending on role you won't get the max range as it is for exceptional reward. If it's says 20%, bonus will most likely be 50-70% of the whatever 20% is for) for decent performance. Stock refresh is ridiculously small compared to other top companies (imagine being given 40-60k split over 5 years) but decent after a few years since you now have multiple years stacking up. Also depends on role, things start to get more fun (rsu wise) when you are L66+.

CHIE is part of the AHSI org so you can't really compare them like that. You could compare CHIE with other orgs in AHSI though.

Only the initial stock grant us good, the cliff is steep.
Microsoft cliff is not just steep, it's whatever is the grant to zero for all practical purposes. Actual bonus you'll get will only be 50% of the target bonus barring rare exceptions.
