Facebook just launched Instagram Reels - a new way to create and discover entertaining videos. Could this be the secure alternative users want? https://about.instagram.com/blog/announcements/introducing-instagram-reels-announcement #tech
Yes
Someone's getting promoted
Not me...
It’s me 😛
Congress man ask Zuck: Do you believe China is a threat? Zuck: Don’t you see we have started copying them?
I think music licensing gonna be key for long term sustainability of both tiktok and reels on insta.
Uninstalled in 2 mins. Really bad recommendations
How to install/uninstall? Isn’t it just inside of instagram?
They are full of it.
+1 content and recommendations not as good on Reels
My first few weeks using TikTok it was tons of garbage and occasionally great videos. It’s way better now but this is both more creators and more data about what I like. I’m willing to see where reels is at in a month.
It will be better once more contents are up!
Copystagram?
Jealous? Now that your tiktok is becoming worthless?
Let's not forget we're all mercenary plebs in this game
GG
no re?
Reels is cool and will def change the influencer game on IG. But I don’t see it killing Tik Tok as is. When you open IG, you have to find a specific post in feed that uses Reels in order to jump into the Reels feed. Big pain point.
They copied stories and snap is still around. Reels is a great feature on Instagram nonetheless.
Still around <> is a competitor. Snap has basically stalled since
Copying competitors features and doing them better is a time honored tradition for tech companies. Where did windows come from? Where do you think the majority of iPhone features came from?
