I have an #interview with SpaceX. Read a lot of bad things about work culture and everyone getting underpaid. Is it worth to chase after it? #finance
Whats the pay like?
The work life balance isnt good - so thats thr main problem. Pay for SWE interns is $28/hr. Fulltime new grad is above average - which is $130-150k. With 2-5 years of experience, its 195-225k. The pay is ok, the wlb doesnt make up for the “ok” pay. So i would say the pay isnt that good
That sounds about right. If you get on a good team it can be fun for awhile though
Wlb ranges based on role. Spent 1.5 years where it was tough but manageable (no kids, no partner). Changed departments and it was an absolute suffer fest
So how did it go?

I have one coming up for software engineering. The pay does suck lol. But the brand and prestige on your resume will be worth it.
