I have given Uber code signal twice and I have got 723 and 724 but recruiter bluntly refused to take it to next stage. Is this how it works? I am looking for change and would appreciate someone could give a referral at Square, Uber, Robinhood,eBay, PayPal, Tesla or any other company that is hiring in cloud , e-commerce or crm or positions focused on distributed systems and backend engineering. I have an offer in hand. Looking for better ones Yoe: 9+ Current Tc: 185k Leetcode: 250 plus
What is this?
SAT scores
For me it was 725+ for phone screen and 775+ for direct on-site. And yes anything below is a straight reject.
The same here as mentioned by my recruiter.
Where did you get the score back? I never received mine. I did the test for a DS role, so idk if the process differs
You can see the score on codesignal itself. They won’t send you. But possible DS role have it different.
Man I was lucky enough to not get these online tests ... Direct phone screen and on-site
Get a strong internal referral and bypass the recruiter
Yup, the email with the prep info explicitly states that "The ideal score is 775". My recruiter mentioned that 775+ is necessary for direct onsite, while less than would mean I might qualify for a phone screen. But please don't think that the Code Signal score means anything - I could barely solve 2 out of the 4 practice questions but could breeze through the actual assessment. At the end of the day, luck plays a huge role. Better luck next time.
What was your score?
I don't even know what these numbers are...
What’s the cool off period for the code signal test?
We will allow for lower scores with tps for more diverse candidates
What do you mean by diverse?
It depends on the team I think, I was told by my recruiter 740+ for phone screen and 780+ for direct onsite.
