I always dreamed in college of working for Netflix.. I was working on getting the experience I needed to eventually be a good applicant to apply and now they are in a downtrend. Do you still think Netflix is a good company to work for or do you recommend another company in the film-tech industry?
If it was your dream, pursue it. The only thing that has changed is stock performance (which is hitting everything). Don't like that deter you.
Doesn't Netflix give all cash? Why does their stock price matter to employees in any significant way?
I started at the height of their Success and now it’s where it’s at. Future doesn’t look bright. I’d say it’s the least favorite company I have worked at. People are cold, they treat you as if you are so lucky to be there and managers are crap. Not to mention the constant layoffs you find out about hours before they start
I agree with staygoing, new leadership is ruining what I loved about Netflix. I want to say worse culture than Amazon, and I have worked at Amazon. People were more humane at Amazon.

“Netflix” and “work” should never be placed on the same sentence. It’s “Netflix” and “chill” remember?
