Currently interviewing at Blink Health. Looking at all the Glassdoor reviews, I am not comfortable joining this company on H1B because of constant layoffs. Any one working there currently, Can you please share some thoughts on this? #blinkhealth
They don’t lay off as much nowadays as much as make work life balance and morale horrible for you so you want to quit, but that’s just on certain eng teams and depends on with whom you’re working. They’re trying to do better in some ways. Ditto on would be helpful to provide for which role you’re applying
It ain’t as bad as it used to be but I can’t say it’s great.
I really like it here, probably worth a shot! I am in Seattle office.
What’s your level and TC, OP?
Not sure where you got your layoff info but we haven’t had any recent layoffs. Happy here too in the Seattle office !
Absolutely not. There’s a frequent leadership turnover - the newest COO joined for like 2 seconds and left recently. Do yourself a favor and stay away. You’re welcome.
Thanks for all the comments. I will give it a shot and make a decision based on how my other interviews go.
You had 5-6 different people jumping in to tell you no haha. Make a wise decision
Also, the Data org is all Groupon people because their leadership (now SVP Pharma) brought all of his former team along. Cant say that’s good or bad, but there was a high turnover in that department last summer & fall since he took over.
Leadership is tone deaf and HR is awful and routinely screws people over. Be wary.
And the decision was?
Not pursuing further with Blink.
