Talking about just applying on linkedin/company website, no referral or recruiter. Example companies like Expedia, Airbnb, Splunk...?
It’s worth it if you get the job. I got my last job doing that
Of course. I moved to Meta via LinkedIn application
Isn’t that like how 90% of us get jobs
More worth than not doing anything at the least.
That’s how I got this job. Good luck.
That’s how I got google. Maybe it’s luck but so is everything else
Maximize luck by cold applying everywhere
Idk how you think the process works normally but referrals are rarely for anything but skipping the phone screen or getting your friend some extra cash
To people puzzled I asked - I got previous jobs through connections, and I always see people asking for referrals on here or talking about recruiter, so I just wasn't sure if applying directly was effective
Isn’t that what the majority of people do? Just shoot your shot and if you don’t land an interview then no harm no foul.
Yes
