Why is our country owned by Israel? I don't want my tax dollars fund genocide. How can we stop this nonsense?
like an unofficial list of ppl to stay away from. Is there? Elaborate? #engineering #software #swe
Yes there’s a global blacklist within workday ats system the only way to get off is to send me 1 Bitcoin
I have worked for agencies and recently for a faang (not saying which one) and now Uber. There is no *blacklist* that I know of. But I will say that everyone knows everyone and backdoor references are indeed a thing and completely legal.
So if you aren’t doing great at a company but not terrible what is the chance of getting a job elsewhere same level. Will the word-spread fast? I know theres no real answer to this
If you are leaving a company because that company is not happy with your performance that information can be discovered by your recruiter and used to make a yes/no decision to bring candidate for interview or to hire candidate or leveling, compensation etc. Past performance is 100% the best metric to use in predicting future performance better than any amount of interviewing and is highly sought after information that recruiters are asked to glean through reference checks (backdoor or not).
Yes. We maintain a Google Doc with names of people blacklisted from ever interviewing again in any company in US.
And who would maintain that list?
No...that would be too hard to maintain, and would also be illegal.
I hope they do, so when we find out we can sue them and maybe they'll lose enough good will so we can finally start taxing these companies.
Of course there's a blacklist. You can check if your name appears on it: just go to blacked.com
You guys never call me back. How do I get an interview there?
I mean, just take a look at that website. Maybe you just don't measure up.
Yes, I have this list and you're on it OP.
I wonder if a company blacklists the candidate from interviewing at the same company again if the candidate accepted an offer but later did not join because he/she got a better offer from another company?
That would be illegal.
Why?
Collusion, anti potching agreement etc
