Recently was contacted by a recruiter trying to fill a Comm. Manager position at Facebook. He told me hiring contractors for this role was their general protocol and there is potential to be hired as a full-time employee @ FB but it's not guaranteed--Totally based on need and performance. That being said, the job is very similar to what I do now, has a slightly better title and the comp. is 12k more per year (that would be a significant pay raise for me.) Downsides: Work is 12-8pm, Wed.-Sun. Honestly, this doesn't seem that bad as a downside to me, but I'd love to hear other people's opinions.
Lol you won't be converted, that's the oldest trick in the book sadly. They really need to stop saying that.

Fired without warning, no severance. Top performer.
only if you're comfortable with not getting converted. Not saying it won't happen but rare.
Thanks for your response. That's good to know.
