All it takes is titles lol. The fact that they were a director somewhere else helped them land in as a sr em and then move up to director from there.
Promo time seems normal. The key was that they were able to convert EM title at a bs company to EM title at a legit company. Good strategy.

The job ads/descriptions for most leadership jobs say 10+ years of experience in a management role, so why are these people with not even 5 getting leadership roles? This is why so many leaders in tech are unqualified resulting in employee retention problems.
