I want to hire a developer from financial services for 2 hour consultation

As the title says, I am looking to hire a backend developer as a consultant for up to 2 hours. I am performing market research on a potential FinTech I want to start. It relates to Defined Contribution Plans (401ks and other work-sponsored plans). I have specific requirements though, so unfortunately if I can’t meet these requirements, then I will not be hiring out. The developer NEEDS to have recent experience working on technology that helps support 401(k)s and other DC Retirement Plans. I am looking for a developer who works at any of these companies (they are the top 10 largest DC record keepers): Fidelity Investments Vanguard Empower Retirement TIAA Prudential (just purchased by Empower) Voya Alight Solutions Principal Financial Merrill Lynch T. Rowe Price Fee is negotiable. Please let me know if interested. I may need to validate that you meet the requirements before I hire you, because a specific skill set is required for my market research. Edit: description to the skill set I need and fee structure. #tech

Lol good luck. Any developer with 6-8 yoe is going to want at least 300k a year and won’t want to take any side work less than a few thousand. Also you’re ask is almost definitely more than 2 hours. TC or GTFO

I used to work for a bank and am currently interviewing for one of the firms listed above. I'm willing to play along if you are.

Thanks for commenting. Have you worked specifically on Record-Keeping services before? My issue is very specific to this type of service.

I have no fucking idea what recording keeping means to you. It's a bank. It keeps a lot of records. Compliance, regulatory, pii, claims, etc. If you're trying to be some sort of data storage platform, then no, not directly.

Another way is to compare to public sector pay rates. I think out of college consultants bill at $200-400 an hr.

Good luck finding for that price.
