M1 finance on F1/H1B visa

Has any one in F1/H1B visa been investing using the M1 finance website. It's weird that they say the user needs to be a permanent resident or green card holder to open the account.

Haha, I would but Robinhood doesn't offer fractional shares and DRIP. I use Robinhood for trading but M1 seems to be good for long term strategy with DRIP.
