Layoffs at Saviynt and joining?

One of my friend is applying at Saviynt and heard that they laying off ppl like 20% in round two. Round one was something in August. Recently A. They fired or removed CEO B. HR head was let go C. Lots of Product team changes D. Some horror glass door reviews E. Moved many employee to hourly with either resign or sign ultimatum. Many of them on H1. She is wondering if this is still a decent company to join as she has another offer from Sailpoint which just went private. #security Friend TC : 160 Yoe : 8 LCOL @saviynt , @sailpoint, @okta

Lol. I don’t even know this company but it doesn’t sound like a fun time to join.

I think a good question for your friend is why WOULD they take this role? Highly likely it’s tough environment, people are likely burned out, and good managers have left. Unclear if joining at a low would be a win. Personally this doesn’t sound like the right spot to join. I wouldn’t want the risk from a life satisfaction perspective. Fuck tc.

Exactly! I was telling . She is in TCS so, thinking it would be better. Given market , she want to find if any @saviynt employee here can provide more to it . Looks like sailpoint is better.

The Nayyar’s are bunch of scams, starting with S. Nayyar and many fronts: Saviynt, Securonix, Gurucul, etc. > avoid this place.

Some of what is listed is not true. A, B and E- false. Also there were no layoffs in August.

I’d say better to join Sailpoint than Saviynt. And even still better to join Okta over both.

This is true. Saviyant has toxic culture even when it was normal time for economy. Never join them. Sailpoint is thousand time better than saviyant and okta pays better than sailpoint so you can prefer them.
