Leaving MSFT for UBER? h1b worker
Currently at Microsoft, terrified about the on going layoff and seems it will continue till March. Have a Uber offer now is it worth going? I am a bit worried about redoing the PERM process though. UBER: TC 300k MSFT: TC 250k YOE: 3
How far are you from being done? Get your Immigration milestones done, it might suck for a little but at least you’ll have a big weight off your shoulder

No, uber freight was split from thr main company a long time ago, was mostly being run by an acquired company, and had warning signs with bad company performance.
Can you elaborate on what pretty good means? The company may be closer to profitability but is likely still shaky in a recession, no?
Take the offer from Uber and let the H1 transfer process start and meanwhile if u get laid off then enjoy the severance with a job already in hand
