LinkedIn SOAR (Strategy, Analytics, Ops Rotation) TC

Hey— What’s the TC for LinkedIn’s new grad strategy and analytics rotation program? Someone told me it was $120K and I thought it couldn’t be that low. TC - $110K (new grad in MI) #tech #compensation #linkedin

Strat pay is pretty low at the entry level - would be surprised if it's higher than 120k

Thanks. Do you know how LinkedIn’s S&A program is viewed compared to MBB?

McKinsey 420.69$ Mar 9, 2021

Not sure tbh don't know much about Strat programs in tech. But entry level base at Mck is only 90k with much longer hours as a comparison (don't believe SF office gets paid more either)

I believe 120k is a little high, you may see an offer closer to 100

Microsoft YecA68 OP Mar 9, 2021

For Sunnyvale/San Fran? That’s pretty low.

I agree with you but you likely won’t get 120 or even 100, entry level non-tech roles typically don’t pay that high

I forget the numbers, but I think it was 90-95k base, 10k MSFT stock, and then 10-15% bonus

Microsoft YecA68 OP Mar 11, 2021

10k stock per year? Is $120K doable for a single person in the Bay? I have a MI offer for $110K but I really like the LinkedIn opportunity

Genentech PVcu00 Mar 11, 2021

Yes 10k/year Depends on the company in MI. Definitely think LinkedIn S&A has lead people to solid internal and external exit opps. 90k base is rough but doable given COVID depressing rents

120 is definitely high for non tech position you should consider yourself lucky and blessed lol because you literally don't deserve 120k if you don't know how to code low key. Like what kind of value are you really bringing to the table. That's not shade, I'm a Finance major as well. I just think it's a hard sell when you really don't have hard skills like that. Personality can get you far tho
