My range is less than equal to 3000. Where should I start looking? Does anyone know any good apartments around that range? Also suggest some sites from where I can start my searching. I am in bay area and don’t need schooling as of now.
Check zillow for areas around north San Jose and Santa Clara. Sunnyvale also might have some decent options
If you don’t need a good school, you can get a decent 2BR apt in Sunnyvale, Santa Clara area. If you need a good school, your best bet is Fremont area.
Since SF is fairly wealthy, why are many of the schools in Sunnyvale so bad?
For one SF is ~40miles from Sunnyvale...

'Hindutva': The Radical Hindu Ideology That Seeks to 'Push Christianity Out of India’
Holy shit, just move to Seattle and buy a decent house for 800k-1M with that part of monthly payment you’re never gonna see back anyway. https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2014/upshot/buy-rent-calculator.html
Funny how you say it's better to buy, but Seattle is one of the markets where it makes the most sense to rent. Have you really used the NY Times calculator? Haha
Of course I used it (: Seattle is one of the markets where it makes the most sense to buy, especially when it’s still flat like now. High pay tech people are flooding it, Amazon isn’t moving anywhere, but increasing its presence on the Eastside, same as FB and G, which are growing at the rate of thousands of new employees every year, not to mention MS. Now, it depends where you buy and how long you plan to stay of course. If you get a decent SFH w/o HOA with a good chunk of land somewhere in 98033 at about 800k-1M, and plan to stay at least 5 years, that’s a great deal.
