I come from a very backward community and a poor family. Still my dad makes less than $150 per month. I still remember the days when my family struggled to get 3 meal a day and skip one or two during my childhood. Most of my educational expenses were covered by scholorships and loans. And now, I'm the first generation graduate in my whole family / community with a masters degree. I'm not a smart kid. I work very hard to finish something that my friends completed with no/less effort. I was so dumb a year ago when I was not even able to communicate properly during the interview and my fellow graduates/friends were able to clear FAANG interviews. Though I worked hard, I was not able to crack FAANG. Still, I'm in a much better position than ever before in my whole life. All Thanks to the Blind community for all the motivation and energy I got here. Most of the people I crossed life with, treated me like a shit due to my background. It hurted me a lot but never stopped me by burning me out. I constantly help and support few undergrads by mentoring with what I know to make life better for other poor kids like me and hoping to spread the knowledge. And, I'm planning to mentor more students in future. The best thing that I can do for widening my mentorship is to be in G/FB and help as much students as I can. By LC'ing, I feel like I'll be able to clear amazon or apple but not G/FB. With a personal mentor, I believe I'll atleast have a chance to try and crack sooner or later. is there anyone from FB/G kind enough to help me out? As an appreciation for spending time, i'll be able to share my 3 months salary. Targeting level: L3 TC 160 Exp in US - 1 yr #software #swe #interview #google #gcp #faang #facebook #googlecloud
DM. I have got offers from both. Have taken more than 300 Interviews at Amazon and Google
I worked at FB, and now at G. Conduct interviews at both. Compared to G, there were very limited interview question pool at FB. Even many of those appeared on LC, I had seen still many engineers using those.. probably adding little twists. I can help to prepare for L3-L5 levels. I was a competitive ACM ICPC programming contestant in the past, so LC was quite doable for me with 4-6 weeks preparation. With vast experience of algorithms problem solving, I classify problems into different groups — indeed there are very limited number of patterns that one need to master. It’s just like maths, there can have infinite number of problems on limited number of topics. Now, regarding the mentorship, I’m curious why none of your close contacts came forward helping you, when you are ready to pay 3 months’ take-home TC, which could be pre-tax 60K? Also, not to hurt your feelings— but why do you think a mentor would indeed convinced to get paid for pre-tax 60K from a random anonymous person on blind? Like, what’s the guarantee that you won’t cheat one who probably spends a few hours for 3-4 months on you for a rock solid preparation? Perhaps you are looking into per session payment instead, as if you can’t crack the interview you still MUST pay the efforts the mentor put on you. Besides one’s competence and preparation, luck is often crucial to be on one’s side.
Thank you for stepping up nooglr1337! I hope to clear your questions in DM!

I suggest going on interviewkickstart.com for tutoring
Have you used this service?
Do not pay anyone. I repeat do not pay anyone. Just DM me and I’ll tel you want you need to do to prep and get into g or fb. I have friends in these companies as well. Paying someone 50k for this is insane
Can I dm you? Have similar question.
Sure
I’d suggest that you take a look at the Software Engineering interview prep guide at https://engineerseekingfire.com/how-to-prepare-for-software-engineering-interviews/ Which ones of these resources did you use during your previous preparation?
Thanks, FIRE man 👍
Ugh don't pay for any of this.
Don't pay so much money! There are so many resources available online either free or much much much cheaper.
Never pay to this FANG people. They are already rich.
I am happy to provide tips based on my experience.
thank you TechMann, will DM you in private !
