Looking out for gold diggers

I recently watched the Tech Lead YT videos on the danger a spouse can pose to the money you bring into the relationship. He mentioned that a gold digger can drain your finances unfairly, even if you diligently purchase her gifts and take her to fancy dinner. What are the classic signs of gold digger? My wife is always asking for money, with unclear ways she is spending such as “school supplies” and “food.” Recently she was crying and I gave her a diamond necklace hoping to make it stop... was this wrong? Was it a trap? I feel I have done everything right and followed all the good advice to increase my TC and get a 10 for a wife, from leetcode prep to PUA technique... but now I am concerned I did something wrong and now I am married to someone after my money. Please help Blind, this is very stressful now

Yeah Captain obvious

I'm not sure he's a commissioned officer, but perhaps you know him IRL? Either way, Captain Obvious is a pretty unimaginative nickname for your buddy over there. Please submit an additional nickname for my consideration by 10pm CDT.

If you married a 10, you should be making the YouTube videos, not tech lead and Joma.

Microsoft UMbR31 Aug 8, 2019

I think Joma is popular because he gives hope... "If he can, I can too" types...

Lol. If you pay her to be nice to you or to stop whining - is that gonna last when she isn't a 10 anymore or when she finds another guy? Think with your brain and not your D

OP didn’t give the entire context. TechLead is a YouTube channel where the guy talks about all things tech related. His wife recently left him and kidnapped his 3yo son. So TechLead made a video about how the marriage law is stacked against the breadwinner.

Oh missed this... Damn I feel sorry for him now

Kidnap == "Take (someone) away illegally by force, typically to obtain a ransom." She is the mother.
