Do people underestimate E6 role at meta?
I’m looking to relocate to the LA area and am seeking some advice on how to get out there. I have 10+ years experience in AdTech and MarTech. Wondering how others have done it and if anyone has advice or tips. Looking to stay in the same or similar verticals - open to Education and Health tech too.
Why would you do that to yourself???
You'll be stuck in traffic for the rest of your life. Beaches are nice though.
Don’t come, already overburdened.
Bay area has better jobs. In LA, tech scene is growing but your job search radius is limited because of soul crushing traffic. You can't afford housing in West LA where the majority of the jobs are.
The traffic dilemma is real, so first you’ll want to find a job then plan your living location accordingly. AdTech is a hot topic here so I can’t imagine you’ll have trouble.
Tips: Get a hybrid/electric car for your commute. Negotiate telecommute days. Welcome to LA, and enjoy your stay!
Metro is ass
Advice: go to the Bay Area instead. Better jobs. Better variety. And suburbs cost less to live than Manhattan.
